I want to say a little something that's long overdue:
The disrespect of women has got to be through.
To all the mothers and the sisters and the wives and the friends,
I want to offer my love and respect to the end.

Loved that line, and loved that he was the one to sing it.

From what I can recall, those were awesome fun times! Thanks Beastie Boys, for adding to the fun of it all!

No idea why, I just thought it was the greatest song I'd ever heard, and in all of the years that followed, I'd be walking down the street or something and I'd start going "OUR MANAGER'S CRAZY, HE ALWAYS SMOKES DUST, GOT HIMSELF A ROOM AT THE BACK OF THE BUS..."

It's a sad day in music, to be sure, but the music lives on.

in 3rd grade at a friend's slumber party. It was a bunch of girls, and we were all enthralled.

I'm the only one from that group who grew up loving the Beastie Boys. Adam Yauch would love to know that I spent a weekend dancing with my 3 year old nephew to Intergalactic for hours.
