I think this is the fundamental difference between the major political mindsets. Right Wingers, Conservatives, Tea Baggers, people who think they're Libertarian, they all have one thing in common; If you don't think exactly as I do, I have no use for you.
Now, Frankie & The Cavers will have a field day with this. They think it is us, progressive forward-thinking people, who are intolerant. Nothing could be further from the truth. I love everyone, even right wing intolerant assholes. They have their opinions, I have mine. But there truly is a huge divide in the way we think. A huge divide.
Just read all the cloaked Cave posts on Discussionist. You'll pick up on it pretty quick. They hate everyone who isn't wealthy and white. Even if they're living in a van down by the river, they think Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush is gonna come a'callin and grab their boot straps.
These are truly scary, stupid people. America has become a third world country.
