Can Congress Scuttle the Iran Deal?

I am generally positive on the Iran Deal, as it stands now, but I have to admit I haven't gotten that enthusiastic about it because I assumed that Congress, run by Republican Jerks, would cut the legs out from under it.

But I could be wrong, and I'd really like to be wrong.

Yes - they can vote to continue the sanctions, which would in effect kill the deal, bullwinkle428 Apr 2015 #1
Except the rest of the world would lift sanctions. Iran and the world have won. It is over. Fred Sanders Apr 2015 #3

as Iran would no longer feel any motivation to hold up their end of it.

HOWEVER, it would require a 2/3 vote, which means a good number of Democrats would have to get on board to override the guaranteed veto from the President.
