Indianapolis, Indiana

I visited Indianapolis once to see the Giants play the Colts - Eli vs Peyton. Little brother and my Giants got their asses handed to them 38-14.

On the flight home most passengers were Giants fans and there was a lot of grumbling. I remember one guy shouted "Indianapolis makes Pittsburgh look like Paris!"

So there you have it.

Just about anything one would care to do is within walking distance from a number of major hotels. Good restaurants and shopping, if you are into that. The Children's Museum is world class.

Indianapolis has it's good and bad, like any mid-size city does. I haven't been to Pittsburgh for many years, so I don't know how the two stack up. Perhaps your fellow visitors would have been less critical of the city had the Giants not "got their asses handed to them 38-14."
