Problem California sometimes producing more electricity than it can use

The storing technology is not fully developed yet.

Solution: Use excess power production just going to waste to pump seawater up hill to be stored. Release that seawater to generate electricity when power is in demand. Have the pipeline flow into the Salton Sea. Seawater cools the surrounding desert area. In addition more rainfall can be generated by the larger Salton Sea in the desert area. The Salton Sea again is revived as a recreational area. Not to mention the possibility of Indian Gaming Resorts along the new Salton Rivera.
