Can't wait! We saw him at the inauguration and that was exciting but this is different. He's been through the mill and still able to smile as your pictures clearly show! Talk later! Peace, Kim

25. Hey Julie sorry it took so long to get back to you.

We had a whirl wind trip to Buffalo after seeing the President but I am back now and full of energy.

The event in Columbus was wonderful. Mr. Romney should have actually sent an observer inside and he would know that the house was full. The arena has three levels. The first two were packed and the top, nose bleed section was 50 %. The people standing on the floor in front would have pretty much filled the rest of the place. On the way out of the parking lot we passed a bus marked 'Romney' with about ten people sitting in the grass with their signs. Not a good showing for the Mitmiester!

The organization of the Obama staff is amazing. We have a staffer living with us for the duration and we get to see the daily grind but it was fun to see the results of their hard labor on Saturday. The event was well organized and exciting.

One of the funniest things that they did during the event was to have the attendees take a minute and call two friends and ask them if they support the President and would they volunteer for the campaign? In 60 seconds thousands of calls were made. Staffers aim to make make 300 calls a day. That works out to well over 60 volunteer days effort in the space of 60 seconds!

The people were great and the staff is professional and well organized and...as always the Michelle and the President were wonderful! Peace, Kim

We were nine rows behind the President so we were in the thick of it. The crowd was pumped and it was great fun! And in the end ....we were 'fired up and ready to go!"

The folks there with you were just great. Everyone seemed to know why they were there. I've seen so many crowds just waiting to be animated, but yours looked like they were pumped from the start. So glad that you made it and had a good time!

Obama knows that he needs to get the youth fired up. They are discouraged and weary. They are worried about getting jobs. They are facing a really awful economic situation, and they know that environmental disaster lies ahead. It would be easy for them to stay home in November.

On the other hand, I hear from my college-aged kids that their cohort is inclined to support Democrats. They were children during Clinton's administrations, and adolescents when bushco wrecked everything. These young people view the Clinton years with the rose-colored glasses of childhood. Everything was good. Then w took office and suddenly everything was bad - war, terrorism, economic disaster. They do not blame Obama. They blame the Republicans.

Obama can use this to his advantage, and I'm glad to see that he is doing so. Smart campaign strategy.

the hugeness of the helicopter and what it represents proximal to the organic couple who has remarkably succeeded in changing history right before our eyes. It is imperative that we win convincingly this time around, for the sake of the United States and for humanity.

. . . all of the elements of the presidency are all arranged and set, except for the deliberation of the 'organic' couple. Such a transient moment, yet, it's encapsulating in its deeper significance.

It is imperative that we win. I'm ready . . .

that the rear wheel of the helicopter is off the mark.
Wow, this is just amazing, what an embarrassment for America. It shows just how far the president has let things slide.
