The young man who filmed Walter Scott's murder...(question)

Was his video instantly being uploaded to the net? God, he seemed to be so close and so unobscured - right in plain sight. So confident and brave, when there was like a 95 percent chance his camera would be taken away and himself in physical danger. This was an incident of a lot of luck and courage - and more courage than luck.

They gave it to their lawyer who gave it to the NYT. He did all of us a service by filming. It was dangerous to do, imo.

but before he turned over the video - in the midst of actually filming it - what were the circumstances?
