We Hillary supporters lost to hopey/changey last time and on the whole I like Obama's decisions lately but we now have some hope that we will see the most qualified good woman as President of the United States and her smart husband in tow. We are ready to kick ass, especially stupid white male journalists and so-called politicians. We will challenge corporate media who work just for the money who don't report the truth. We are excited and fired up. Don't bend over.

(59,501 posts)I really don't get why you are doing this. It is an insult to many of the people who will be there for HRC - as they were for past Democrats.
From the tone of it and the OP it seems you are still angry that Clinton lost in 2008. It happens. There are years for everyone when their first choice loses. I KNOW that was my case in 1992 - but I then backed Clinton - read his book and found reasons to support him.
This is very likely your election - HRC will win the nomination. Have you ever thought that it might be better not to attack everyone who preferred Obama? After all, she needs us out there for her to win.
good grief, there is no need to primary Obama now, so carrying that grudge from 8 years ago is in fact counterproductive.

(34,648 posts)Sounds like something my former governor Sarah Palin might say. This kinda attitude will bring the obama coalition to her side, I suppose. I hope this is not the kind of tactics her supporters will fall back on, campaigning against Obama. One of the reasons I am not for Hillary is because of how her supporters and surrogates behaved last time.

(13,616 posts)I realize some Hillary supporters do mean well, but the fellow you rebukes is very much the sort of person that we know, by voting for her, we empower, the sort of narcissistic, well to the right of Nixon, benefit cutting jerk that we have to fear only 10 percent less than the GOP. Yes, I repate the loyaltyy oath that yes, I will vopte fopr Hillary if she win s, even though the minute I say that, real fedup and his lik will simply plan to kick us out on the street the minute CNN announces election results... However, the fact is, the nasty wing of the clinton camp has made some big big losses, just ask Alison Grimes. Onl;y reason Rahm his his job is becuase the Koch brothers did not drop his opponent a lot of money, YET! When the day comes when we realize we do not need the "I can hate hippies as much as the GOP" crowd, they will find themselves where all fascists find themselves, waiting to be shipped off to the same fate they had no problem letting their supposed friends endure.

(92,131 posts)Doubt Hillary would have accomplished 1/3 of what he has, and in many respects based on her comments would have engaged us militarily in Syria. Instead Obama with John Kerry got Syria to remove their chemical weapons
If The Hillary campaign decides to criticize the Obama administration as she and cronies like Podesta and Lanny Davis have been doing several months ago they will lose, just like she did when she said in the 2008 campaign that she and McCain were better able to handle foreign than Obama
History has shown that to be way off, unless war with Iran is considered a good thing

(1,415 posts)I will support our nominee.. to think that the GOP is THIS close to getting all three branches should terrify people... IMO if the GOP wins 2016.. its pretty much game over for the country and possible even our party... Hitler came to power in Germany as a fascist regime becasue of the very weak opposition.. whihc the Dems seem to be doing , but we will all lose so much if they don't take a stand... I will support Hill, i think she will be tough.. can she win? Yes, but her own worst enemy is herself IMO.. I think it would be good for the party to have a contested Primary tho..... IMO

We Hillary supporters lost to hopey/changey last time

(12,799 posts)That's what I thought.
If I might offer some advice, if you hope to woo Obama voters to Hillary enthusiasts, it might be better to be a little less critical of our current Democratic President. It doesn't seem particularly productive and might tend to divide us over old battle wounds.
