You know when I really started liking Obama the man - the day he left the campaign to go and look for his dying grandmother - then I knew he was not just another unfeeling politician - he was human and he understood what was really important.

I'll never forget the media hacks comments that day.

7. He's someone who's not afraid to show

who he is inside. That's rare in someone who reaches that high position. His relationship with his family, his strong appeal to small children, and his ready wit and ability to capture a crowd has always made him a likable and approachable leader.

I don't see his like on the immediate horizon, I'm afraid. He has brought a rare human touch to the White House.
