We need a real progressive third party candidate in 2016!

Someone that will take votes from the Democrat and allow a Republican to win. Then we can obliterate Obamacare, attack Iran and put some real right wing assholes on the Supreme Court!

Since under Obama the 1% has expanded their wealth by wide margins. The statistics doesn't lie.

Hillary is unlikely to do anything that changes that trend.

So Im kind of clueless why a 1%er would spend that much money. Perhaps they think a Republican would give them an even higher ROI.

I've heard that Hillary plans on running on the middle class. Didn't I see lots of middle class signs during Obama's campaign speeches and lots of middle class chants from the audience during his speeches? How has the middle class faired under Obama? Every Democratic Presidential nominee runs on the middle class because everybody likes to think of themselves as the middle class even if they really aren't. The fact is unless we get a Bernie Sanders or an Elizabeth Warren the middle class is fucked.

That was an objective abuse and the jury ignored it.. People can see that for themselves.

You split hairs and then accuse others of making insults. Either you believe something or you don't. Pointing out your views is not an insult. I never called you an astroturfer or anything else. When you stump for despots, people are going to notice. Those are positions you publicly took. I can imagine if I had taken such repugnant positions I would try to hide from them too. Clearly you aren't able to handle any questions about consistency in your views. You speak of Clinton supporters as though they were the devil's spawn, and here you are financially contributing to one such supporter by posting on this website.

A few points, given positions you have taken, you are not in a position to call anyone else right wing. The thing I have noticed about people who fixate on proclaiming themselves leftier than the rest of us is that they very often take more conservative positions on a host of issues.

As for political operatives: I can't imagine any campaign would waste a nickle trying to convince your crowd of anything. How could it possibly matter what you and a few dozen other people think about Hillary Clinton? You all think far too highly of yourselves. The fact is you represent nothing and no one but yourselves. Your views and goals are restorationist, looking to recreate a past America where your privilege went unchallenged, and where politicians didn't concern themselves with the riff raff you have written so dismissively about.

In their view saying there are operatives here turns into "all Clinton supporters are operatives." Criticizing the coup in the Ukraine turns into "stumping for despots!" You can see how this crowd twists things.

I have no clue what the Restoration stuff is referring to. It surely isn't me. My politics are antiwar and antiausterity. There has been no time in the last 40 years where my politics held sway.

Calling a Duer a "right wing Dem" is a clear personal attack.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Sun Apr 12, 2015, 10:40 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT

Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: None of these deserve hides.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Hesitated over this. However there is a right wing of the Dem Party, 'conservative' might be more acceptable, but going to leave it as the conservative dems are taking this party to the right so while it's not a pleasant thing to talk about, it is a fact.
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

My personal reaction. The notion that the Democratic Party does not have a right wing and a left wing and everything in between is contrary to many DU posts from both the right wing and the left wing of DU's Dems. Votes in Congress are explained that way. Rahm referred publicly to the "left of the left."

The notion that only one wing of the Democratic Party posts here is also contrary to many posts at DU, where DU's left is often referred to as "the far left," and not even as "the far left of the Party, just "the far left," as though we were wild-eyed Communists from 1927 or something.
