Republicans Promise Smooth Transition of Hate from Obama to Clinton
WASHINGTON - Republicans today promised that there will be a "seamless transition of hatred" if President Obama is succeeded in office by Hillary Clinton. "Like many Americans, we will be saddened to see our lawsuits, investigations, and general harassment directed towards President Obama come to an end," said House Speaker John Boehner. "But we want to reassure everyone that we are very much up to the challenge of transferring our hatred to a President Clinton." Boehner promised the American people that the tormenting of the new Democratic President would begin on her first day in office. "The fact that we began this process while she was still Secretary of State will really enable us to hit the ground running," he said.
And this!
Hillary is an ambitious, narcissistic, power-mad woman - and only the woman part distinguishes her from every other President we've had.

Pull my other finger!
Look to see them finally 'go green' and recycle all the Clinton CTs. And so many will buy them, with new branding, that it's going to be sick.

(57,936 posts)We hear a lot on DU about how horribly Obama has been treated by the press. And it is true.
But what has been forgotten is the many lawsuits and frivolous accusations that were thrown at Bill Clinton when he was president.
One of the reasons I do not support Hillary's candidacy has nothing to do with her qualifications or lack thereof or the vagueness of her plans should she become president, but rather with the fact that by the time of her inauguration should she win, the Republicans will have had 16 years in which to dig into her history and find thousands of scandals, some worth maybe a glance, and most worth being thrown in the rubbish, with which to unsettle potential voters about her.
I dread it. It will be a huge waste of time. Wait for an October Surprise. It will be a huge one. And totally bogus.
I understand that Hillary hired a team to come very last hair in her life so that she will be prepared for the barrage of crazy rumors that will be spread about her.
But it is impossible to rebut lies with truths in the American media. Well, maybe I am overstating it a bit. But nearly impossible.
If for no other reason, Hillary needs an opponent in the primary to stir up all the cuckoo stuff about her and get the air cleared.
But most of all, she needs to let us know what she stands for, what she wants to achieve as president. So far she has said she is for women, but that is about all.

(57,936 posts)almost impossible to disprove. Like the tales that Hillary is a secret lesbian.
My main problems with Hillary are the TPP, her vote for the Iraq War and the discussion in which she was rude to the Code Pink women around the time or prior to her vote on the Iraq War, her ties to the financial sector (I don't want another bunch of Goldman Sachs and CitiGroup people controlling the very agencies that are supposed to regulate their sector) and her stances on a number of other issues.
But in addition, the Republicans will treat her possibly even worse than they treated her husband and Obama. So if you support her candidacy, brace yourself. It's going to be a long, hateful ride and not one that is good for our country.
Same if the Republicans run yet another Bush boy. We Democrats do not want another Bush for president. Predictably, the economy fell apart under each of the last two Bush family members. Enough is enough of sloppy regulation.
