The moon is 180 degrees opposite the sun when full, so it rises when the sun sets and sets as the sun rises.

(8,244 posts)It seemed a little brighter than normal but that could be partly because I'm used to city moons and it seems brighter out here in the booneys? Southeastern Ohio.
Pretty sure I've seen super-er.
Still, hey, free supermoon, can't beat that.

Hope there is rain but I doubt it. Just a mud rain: sandstorm with 12" rain (between the drops) and voila! Little mud spots all over.
