For eagle fans. A couple of pics and an update on the kids.

Here are 2 current pics of the Eagles.

The kids are much stronger although the older one is still obviously more advanced. The Mama leaves them more now, but she does nest on them at night. As you can see, the nest has a variety of creatures around the edges. There is a rabbit in there. The kids will peck at the pieces and get small pieces for themselves. Already snacking.
Three days ago, I noticed one had his butt aimed at the camera(and me). I wasn't really paying attention. Suddenly a white blob appeared and whoosh. He had fired a shot at us. He did not have the strength to hit the camera, but his aim was true. I had been shat at. I have seen them fire a few times after that now that I know what I am looking at.

Amazing photos!!!

Birds are fascinating. Glad to know the small one is doing OK now, although Nature's laws aren't sentimental. I am though, which is why I almost didn't look at your 1st OP on these guys. Couldn't help myself...
