Anyone notice that Ron Paul supporters are eerily similar to the Lyndon Larouche supporters?

I can remember the LaRouchies during the 70,s and 80's and they remind me of the Paulites of today.

Both Larouche and Paul are conspiracy theorists and are very good at luring ignorant idealists from the left and the right.

I don't believe in coincidences like this.

And when I see people on this site praising Paul...a man who has made extremely racist comments in the past I need to sometimes remember what site I am on.

The only thing is that Paul people are capitalists who are just against regulation by making anti-capitalist comments...weird group to be sure.

who have a very legitimate reason to support a candidate that represents their concerns.

RP might have many negatives but his foreign policy views make sense especially to the soldiers who have had to put up with our bullshit wars in Iraq & Afghanistan.

...if he combined Democratic principles of creating an America for all, with support services, and a watchdog approach to Wall Street.....with Paul's domestic policies of abandoning the war on drugs, and foreign ones like stop engaging in trillion dollar wars in other countries and torturing captives.

I watch BookTv on the weekends to try to keep up with what is being published. Just about every weekend some RP supporter interrupts the Q&A session with some wildly off topic question, rudely interrupting the whole event. And there are usually two or three of them.
