It doesn't look like she is trying to look young...nor is it a "matronly" style either. It looks like it is not a lot of effort to achieve daily because it is not being forced to do something that it unnaturally would....an attractive low upkeep style for a busy woman with work to do....who doesn't want to be distracted by maintaining a more complicated coif. She is not trying to look like something she is not. Her hairstyle is simple yet elegant and looks equally attractive in a pantsuit or evening gown. I see absolutely nothing wrong with her current hairstyle. I am sure until now she has for the most part...done her own hair styling day to day because she has always traveled so much. I for one am not expecting her to have perfect hair everyday...

It's flattering, not fussy, and probably easy to keep.

Hillary has taken all kinds of shit about her hair for as long as I can remember her being in the public eye. Remember her headbands, back during the 1992 campaign? CRIMINY, you'd have thought she was doing some skinhead thing, the uproar about it. Everybody judging everything she did and how she looked and dressed. People made such a fuss about her headbands. I had long hair and wore headbands all the time, too, back then. To keep it outta my FACE! So I can relate. And she looked good with a headband on, too.

I kept thinking - "what's it to you, anyway?"

IT HAS NOT A DAMN THING TO DO AS TO WHETHER SHE IS QUALIFIED!

If a person is fit for the job, they are fit for the job. Their outer appearance should have very little, if anything to do with their qualifications.

You post a subtly humorous comment about Hillary's appearance, even though it is true and accurate. They pounce on it and link it in another thread, blasting it as shallow.

Yet many of the Bernistas have pictures of Bernie's fringe, celebrating his look. Go figure.

Not really sure what to make of that, other than noting it.

She also seems to have been singled out to be called by first name. Other than derisive plays on first names, like Squatty, for Walker, male candidates are identified by their last name, after a possible use of their full name.

you either have to type out Hillary Cllinton or use Hillary, to avoid confusion with Bubba. Same with Jeb Bush and Dimson.

Bernie has often been referred to on his board as Bernie. I don't see a problem.

It seems that people are liking first names this time around. Hillary is leading Bernie (and everyone else). O'Malley and Chafee wish people knew their first names or that they were running and the other 13 Democratic candidates are thrilled if someone nods their head while passing them on the sidewalk.
