Commack schools probe students in swastika T-shirts

COMMACK - The Commack School District is investigating after online pictures surfaced showing two students wearing anti-Semitic T-shirts.
The first photo shows the students playing a drinking game. The male and female students are wearing red T-shirts, with handwritten swastikas on them. The word Auschwitz is also in bold, and in smaller lettering it says something to the effect of "hit the showers."
The district confirms that they are students in the district, and that the pictures were taken at an off-campus house party during the spring break recess.

Why is the school responsible for something that the kids did while off-campus and outside of school hours? I can't access the link, so maybe there's more to the story. But unless the school is a boarding school, I can't see how they would be responsible for this. Where are the parents?

6. Just saw on the local TV news that...

a while back the same school dealt with some other assholes wearing "Rape" t-shirts on the ballfield during class hours.

They say they probably can't do much about this, but they are sensitive to the actions of their more assholish students.
