Breaking on Lawrence - Robert Bates - the pay to play killer 'deputy'

did not receive the required training.
Three supervisors were required to falsify his training record and were transferred after refusing to do so

-turn on Lawrence right fuggin now and then scream.

The Sheriff or whomever thought it was a good idea (and was probably receiving kickbacks *cough* bribes in al the largesse) and apparently whomever transferred these people who refused to LIE. There is so much corruption in law enforcement it's staggering.

To whom, I don't know. It was another officer shouting at the victim. It's all spelled out in your second link.

...Shut the f#!# up!" when the dying suspect said he could not get his breath after he had been shot in the chest by an untrained incompetent (who had immediately said "“I shot him! I’m sorry.” when he realized he had used his pistol instead of his taser.) ... (tragic with regards to what is says about attitudes & our culture, though not nearly as tragic as the killing itself. It appears that the deputy who killed him did so out of incompetence, and had a better attitude than the trained officer.)
