(12,017 posts)not sure if I agree with it or not. the warnings already are not heeded in some situations due to their frequency (just about any rotating storm generates an alert). this might lead to 'the boy who cried wolf' syndrome...which I can only see as leading to more loss of life.

(146,262 posts)Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. I think that is a mistake. I have my weather radio, and can watch the current radar. I use that as a guide, rather than the sirens.
