Republican Milwaukee County Supervisor calls Hillary Clinton "Ovary"

You stay classy, GOP...

County supervisor defends calling Hillary Clinton 'Ovary'

Did Ovary's campaign REALLY set a $2.5 BILLION goal just for her own #POTUS run? Yet SHE claims there's too much $ in politics? Sheesh #tcot

(snip)

Is it really appropriate to refer to the former first lady in this way?

Alexander, a conservative on the left-leaning County Board, thinks so.

She notes that people come up with nicknames for politicians all the time. For instance, former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was dubbed The Governator and ex-President Bill Clinton was known as Slick Willie to his critics -- and even some of his supporters.

Alexander, who is considered a possible candidate for the state Senate, said she found it interesting that people have jumped to the conclusion that she was referring to Hillary Clinton when she discussed "Ovary's campaign." She noted that Time Magazine ran a "sexist" article on the former secretary of state earlier this month by suggesting that Clinton is ready to run for president now that she's past menopause.

Well, obviously the first guess should be Rand Paul.

as a pejorative nickname when speaking of another woman. Does this mean she hates herself? Hates women in general? Finds women disgusting? Or is she just using the trick of saying something outrageous in order to generate publicity?

Would it be different if a male used the word "Testicle" as a pejorative name for a politician?

18. Interesting, but dick is already a derogatory slang word when applied to a person,

sort of like cunt.

What seems odd to me in this case is using a formal anatomical word with the assumption that it's pejorative. Also odd is the notion that a politician thinking of running for higher office would think saying this is a good option for her. She may be right.

19. I see what you're saying, but this strikes me as a typical juvenile Republican attempt at snark

or something.

Hillary = ovary (really clever-they're both 3 syllable words that end in "ry&quot

Ovary is not a "dirty word," but it shows how clever she is, serves to bring smutty thoughts to the pea-sized Republican brain & gets a Beavis-style yuk from the Yahoos.

So it's all laden with misogynistic dog whistles and frames her as daring, witty, and maybe even a genuine Redneck Girl™.

So, yeah, given the crowd she's playing to, it's a good option.

But notice that Shitass, Assface, Asshole, Turd, etc won't work for GOP members. You just get questioning looks waiting for you say which one. NOT sarcasm.

After the phrase "I can't breathe" began to be used in response to the police killing in Staten Island, she tweeted this: “Well, I broke down and bought myself a present: A ‘Breathe Easy, Don’t Break the Law’ T-shirt."

Unfortunately, she is also very ambitious.

Look at the smug little reason why gopertives are held in such low esteem.
