Just talked to Tim's wife Nelda.
They are up to a third of a gram of RSO oil per day now! They need him at a gram a day to properly halt the cancer. At this rate he will be there quickly!!
Hospice has told them the end is getting near, but they refuse to believe it.
They are coming to a fork in the road. One road is more radiation with the oil. The other road is rely on the oil alone. They will make that decision when the time comes. Many patients I have worked with walked away from chemo, which was killing them, and ran with the oil instead and are alive years later because of it. There is always hope.
She says Tim is eating like a starving banshee now. He is sleeping a lot without all the tossing, turning, moaning and nightmares he endured before starting on the oil treatment.
She said that since starting the oil a week ago, his spirits have been lifted and she said today he is joking about having an incurable case of the munchies. She said it is the first time since before his relapse she has heard a hearty laugh out of him.
Also they have received several anonymous donations over the last couple days, probably from DUers, so they can concentrate on his treatment without worrying about the where their next tank of gas will come from. Thanks DU!
