Chris Christie VOWS that he will CRACK DOWN on the evil "gateway drug," MARY J WARNER. You HIPPIES!

Chris Christie vows to 'crack down' on marijuana as president

By Z. Byron Wolf, CNN

Updated 2:21 PM ET, Thu April 16, 2015

Hewitt: Right now, we've got the states of Colorado and Washington flaunting federal law by allowing people to sell dope legally. If you're the President of the United States, are you going to enforce the federal drug laws in those states?

Christie: Absolutely. I will crack down and not permit it.

Hewitt: All right, next ...

Christie: Marijuana is a gateway drug. We have an enormous addiction problem in this country. And we need to send very clear leadership from the White House on down through the federal law enforcement. Marijuana is an illegal drug under federal law. And the states should not be permitted to sell it and profit from it.

I hope he makes this a major plank in his platform. It'll cost him the election.

I never used MJ. Beer was enough to get me using coke then meth. The "Gateway Drug" argument is pure BS.

"Recreational" marijuana was allowed only at one location, "Maggie's Farm" in Manitou.

"Medical" marijuana was EVERYWHERE, shops on pretty much on every other street corner.

I posted about it at the time, but former supporter of Mitt Romney for President and owner of the Garden Of The Gods Trading Post Tim Haas didn't like the fact that the hippies were down at Maggie's buying weed instead of spending their money at his store buying t-shirts, coffee mugs and keychains...so two months after Maggie's "recreational" store opened, he paid to get a measure on the November ballot to have them shut down.

He got his ass HANDED to him, 3 to 1.

In the first two months of operation, the Maggie's Farm recreational store alone kicked back $200,000 in taxes to Manitou.

No crime spikes, no increase in traffic, and "hippies" have LONG been a part of the town BEFORE weed was legalized. It's a real melting pot of all kinds of people and from what I could see in the nine months I was there, no one's life was ruined.

Except for maybe Timmeh.

That's Tim, at the mic, below. His candidate lost.

I love the Gardens of the Gods, and try to make an occasional visit when I'm in Colorado.
