On Saturday, several GOP Presidential hopefuls gathered for the First in the Nation Republican Leadership Summit in New Hampshire to try and win over voters. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) decided to take a more comedic approach by insulting Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton to win over his conservative audience.
In all honesty, although his fellow Republicans laughed, things get pretty awkward when Paul tries to be funny. Watch below:
Paul jokes, Im starting to worry that when Hillary Clinton travels, theres gonna need to be two planes one for her and her entourage, and one for her baggage. Im concerned that the plane with the baggage is really getting heavy and teetering.
That insult was just one more thing to add to the increasing list of misogynistic comments and behavior Paul has exhibited toward women. His wife has even had to come to his defense to fend off accusations that hes sexist (we dont believe her)!
Paul didnt stop at his baggage remark, either it was only a setup for more jabs directed at Clinton. Referencing the former Secretary of States recent email scandal in which she used her personal server for business emails, he continued:
Shes just sort of above the rules? She doesnt have to use a government server? Its like, Oh, well, my server was protected by the Secret Service. Does she think theres, like, floppy disks in her basement?
