Barkely trash talks Rmoney during broadcast of playoff game

NBA analyst Charles Barkley is a man of many words.

And they could be words about anything from basketball to weight loss to politics.

The TNT analyst saw presidential candidate Mitt Romney on the TV screen during the Celtics-Hawks playoff game and said "we're going to beat you like a drum in November," said Barkley, now an analyst with TNT. "Don't take it personally. You seem like a nice guy ... but you're going down, bro."

Barkley, once described himself as a Republican, but was a huge booster of President Obama. (Thanks to our colleague Catalina Camia at On Politics for the tip)

When a family member showed her distaste for his choice of political affiliations by stating "the Republicans are the party for the rich", the Round Mound replied, "Well, I'm rich". Glad to see he's been enlightened.

Never one to hold his tongue he refreshingly candid and a pretty good guy. Life's best example of a world-class athlete that can't play golf.
