Hi. The transition was completed years ago. Its a complete joke and an absences of reality for anyone to maintain we have a democracy. I refused, for twenty six years, to lead my 4th grade classes in the "Pledge" for the same reason. This country in not a "Republic" but a myth.
Like many others have asked, what are they hiding?

I have been, since Ike, and what is going on seems all to familiar. The funny thing about it, is we push democracy on countries, but not our own. Go figure. Back in the 60's, it was the same issues.

The Republicans of the sixties are definitely not the same as the Republicans of today. This is a big different animal that we're dealing with today... the Tea Party people, religious fanatics controlling an entire wing of one of the parties, not to mention the fact that we now have more millionaires serving in Congress then us normal people. I'm interested to hear your feedback on this.

She also got a restraining order to keep him from harassing or annoying her and from "doing bodily harm." In a supporting affidavit, she said she was "in fear for the safety and well-being of myself and our children due to (Brown's) physical violence and abusive nature."

She concluded by saying that "I am definitely afraid of my husband, that he has struck and bullied me on several different occasions, he has completely destroyed my peace of mind and that I am extremely intimidated by him."

th0se events are 30 years in the past.

That ex-wife is now friends with his new family, hosts
fund raisers for him, and appears in his TV ads.

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt in thinking that
you were not making a personal attack just because you
disagreed with Brown about trade. That would be improper.

Brown is a very good Senator.

The question was "Why isn't Sen Brown running for president?"

And this is the #1 reason why

What is your expiration date on repercussions from beating ones spouse? 30 minutes, 30 days, 30 months, 30 years?

Abused spouses commonly forgive their abusive partner, it is nothing new or earth-shocking.

He knows this is a bone the media would never let up on if he ran for President

------------

And since when has posting facts become a personal attack? I did not give my opinion I simply posted a link from a main stream media outlet (Cleveland Plain Dealer). The quote I posted that was within the article comes from court records. Once again I ask how is posting facts a personal attack?

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt in thinking that you were not trying to sully my name by making a personal attack just because I posted facts you do not like. That would be improper.

---------------

Look I've voted for him twice because he was the lesser of two evils. I would not call him a very good Senator, I would call him above average. He talks the talk but he does not always walk the walk.

AND I could not care less about his TPP stance, I do not care about anyone's TPP stance, mainly because no one knows what is it the TPP yet. People assume it will be bad because of past agreements and they might be correct. Once the TPP if written and released then I will care what people think about it. I find it hilarious all these talking heads on TV trying to make a name for themselves by blasting an agreement that is not complete or released.

If Brown does not like how this trade agreement is being negotiations then he should work on repealing the Trade Act of 1974 instead of crying about how unfair it is. He acts like this is a new way of doing things and it is not.

I even understand why Obama wants fast track, the US has been negotiating the TPP since Feb of 2008, that is 7 years and 2 months. If Congress add amendments to the trade agreement it could send the negotiations back to square one and they could be looking at another 7 years to get a deal done. If the only way congress would support the agreement is by adding amendments then they should vote it down. How can you negotiate in good faith if when you country votes on an agreement they can completely change said agreement?

If it is a bad deal them vote it down, seams simple to me. But waiting until you know what is in the agreement before bitching about it.

completely innocent of those ancient charges.

In picking up on that low-life Josh Mandel's smear,
your attack was ad hominem.

Not even Mike Dewine played that card.

You did not deal at all with the substance of
Brown's TPP arguments, which are solid.

Watched him with "Tweety" and WAS NOT impressed! The people I most admire in Congress don't want this, I really don't think I trust Hillary regardless what she's saying right now because "ANYTHING" can be said, it's what you do in the end that's important!

Obama talked about educating people for jobs, but I heard NOTHING about how we're going to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure. There are millions of people who can't go back to school and millions who CAN do the work of rebuilding what needs to be fixed now. So many jobs can be had that don't need a college diploma, so why not focus on creating jobs for laborers etc.?

I can't stand this stuff much longer... We're getting screwed 7 ways to Sunday! I no longer know where I belong, I really and truly don't!!

Constitutional Duty to the Executive Branch? Fast Tracking means Congress agrees to the power invested in Congress to the Executive Branch refusing to do its job of playing its role as Representatives of the people, to Negotiate Trade Agreements.

If they pass this Fast Track bill, they will be destroying our system of checks and balances, trusting the Executive Branch to make deals with Foreign Corporations in Secret, without any input from Congress.

That is unthinkable, especially since we know at least some of what is in this Secret Agreement and none of is good for the American people.
