The only consistent news from her is in the first 20 minutes of the broadcast. 19 minutes of the last half hour is selling soap, with 11 minutes of actual news. Who does she think she is deceiving?

(130,714 posts)You bother to watch the first 20 minutes of the broadcast, and don't know that tv has to sell 'soap?' How much do you contribute to your public broadcasting stations?

I loved Maddow the rare moments she spoke and delivered news and analysis like a grown up instead of a silly teenager
which was way too frequent for my taste.

(144,890 posts)Rachel deals with some of the more interesting and more complex issues out there and it is not easy breaking down a complex concept into individual elements. Any litigator will tell you that the key to a good argument in a complex case is the ability to break the issue down into small segments. Rachel does an amazing job at this.
There are times when Rachel is explaining a complex legal or voting rights issue and she does an amazing job in breaking down the issue. Even though I was very familiar with the issue before her explanation, I admire the job she does explaining such concepts

Maybe you should watch the show before making insane accusations.
