He has been saying for weeks that whole generations have sprung up knowing nothing of the CLINTON years, that these Young know them only as celebrities, that he will be enlightening them about "the CLINTON scandals" and that his doing so will turn them into a juggernaut of wingnut votes because of their resulting disgust.
Two notes to LIMBOsevic: The young will be baffled to learn that wingnuts emitted big wuffs over sexual matters. My guess is that they will say, KEWL!1 If many of the Young actually follow LIMBOsevic, they will soon realize they are only getting half or less of the story, the real revelation (to them) being that wingnut persecution and obstruction are not only NOT new to the present but are wingnut DNA of all time.
One note to myself: The big lesson for me from the CLINTON years is that when we have our sides leaders who are irresistible targets to wingnuts, we followers have to lose precious time and energy AWAY from working on our agenda and diverted into defending the leaders we are stuck with. I say stuck with in the fondest way because I have always and will support whoever our Democratic nominee and officeholder is. I was totally enthusiastic supporting Hillary CLINTON in 08 until she lost. Im less personally enthusiastic now, and am letting go of the momentarily sad déjà vu of defending-defending-defending so long as she puts up the winning fight.
Note to wingnuts about the current allegations of CASH. Zounds!1 CASH is a problem of some kind?!1 How can that be, since our supreme Supreme Court has officially declared CASH to be free speech, specifically in mass quantities unloaded, not only by individuals, but by abstract conglomerates that are also deemed to be human individuals. And might I ask, since the current allegations regard paying-for-play, exactly what do -- the KOCH brothers, ADELSON, all the various PACs that dont have to reveal their donors -- expect to get in return for their hundreds of millions? Or rather, what makes their very exuberant flinging of CASH different from any other. Come, let us pass on by with a little smile.

(54,349 posts)I remember now: about 3 years ago, there were the "Obama scandals." Except that it was an invention of Fox Noise. Fox was reporting about them for hours every day until even their audience got tired of hearing about something that wasn't.
I suspect they are trying the old formula with a new name. If MSNBC gets started about the Bush III corruption scandals, Rand Paul's son, the Rubio and Cruz lies, Fox might have to go look for some O'Malley scandals (oh, sure) or some Sanders scandals (good luck) if they want to prop their fans' eyelids open.

(70,683 posts)But I suspect it will be, rather, an exoneration of all the dirt already known about him. As for MSNBC, I don't count on them for anything. They have been rudderless almost their entire cable lifetime -- they foisted IMUS and "Savage" WIENER and BUCHANAN (besides the current Joe SCABS and BARNICLE) on us.
