Since you are probably the most if not one of the most famous transgendered persons in the world who is a self proclaimed Republican and suggested to Dianne Sawyer that you could influence Senate Majority leader, Mitch McConnell, and Speaker Of The House, John Boehner to advance the rights of our gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning brothers and sisters I request you ask them to allow a vote on legislation which would add the aforementioned groups to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Fair Housing Act of 1968. I assure you the Democratic votes will be there.
Thank you in advance.

(99,708 posts)At the least he should request an audience with those two gentlemen.

(12,276 posts)Secondly, the pair wouldn't give Bruce oxygen from the same room.

(6,592 posts)I had no idea. I remembered him only vaguely, and my shock was learning he was the head of that useless Kardashian clan.

(99,708 posts)That's why I just try to say Bruce instead of a pronoun because Bruce leaves it ambiguous but I am not comfortable calling Bruce he or she in this environment.

(99,708 posts)Like everything in life although not a panacea money eases everything in a capitalistic nation and Bruce has an abundance of it.
As I said, my shock wasn't the transgender part, so I wasn't even thinking about that. I didn't watch the interview either, so I *really* wasn't thinking about that. I hear (or read) "Kardashian," and I just go yuck, yuck, yuck!!!!!!!
I'm happy s/he's speaking out for the good it will do other people, but based on the tiny bit I know about her/him, I don't think I like her/him on the whole. Not that it matters to anybody but me.
Looks like good will come of this, so that's good. But for my part I change the channel. Like now - oh yuck, there's another Kardashian.....

I didn't see the interview, and didn't know that he was a republican. He's wealthy, so he never has to worry about being refused housing or employment because he is transgender, and many of the other forms of discriminatory viciousness that non-wealthy transgender people have to face in the real world.
One month on the streets living full time as a real live broke working class transgender woman, and he would be crying and begging people to vote for Bernie or Hillary.

(9,426 posts)He ALWAYS comes in second (or third) AFTER Kris. He certainly left the raising of his two young daughters up to her, they are turning into younger versions of the odious Kim. When is the trial for the death if the lady he caused in the car accident? Is he too rich to prosecute? Me, me me seems to be his primary concern.

(25,311 posts)Bruce Jenner told officials there was no way he could have avoided the fatal crash he was involved in last weekend, blaming the collision on the Lexus driver who he said slammed on her brakes without warning, according to TMZ.

You should never hit the car in front of you unless it swerved in front of you because if you did you were following too closely... Whenever I hit the brakes I look in my rear view mirror for just that reason.

(11,513 posts)And whomever said "that useless Kardashian clan" nailed it, they're all about making the most money possible while doing absolutely nothing useful. For far too long they've promoted the idea that it's cool to be stupid. They're a pox on our young people.

(44,972 posts)much less change their mind. I guess the wealth must be what allows people in that situation to believe in a party that literally despises them.

(1,933 posts)get involved - I think he's a republican. He's in it for the fame
and money, in my view.
I think he needs serious help. Hope he's getting it.
