..workers are fighting for their life.

Yet.. all Jimmy Hoffa Jr. can do is endorse the lessor of two evils concept?

Weak.

...Mr. Hoffa is not going to throw the support of the Teamsters behind the clueless silver-spoon car elevator motherfucker who made his bones via a combination of having a rich daddy and aligning himself with corporate raiders who serially fucked over American workers and tossed them to the side of the road while listening to that suh-WEET sound of the cash registers going "Cha Ching, Cha CHING." I'm also going to high five Sid Dithers, elsewhere in this thread, and say "FUCK that 'lessor of two evils' shit."

And it's "lesser." "Lessor" is "The owner of an asset that is leased under an agreement to the lessee." If you're going to piss people off, at least do it with correct spelling.

I thought, maybe, the poster meant that Jimmy Hoffa Jr. was looking to rent a couple of evils somewhere.

But what I was alluding to.. is why have the Teamster been so silent?

Yes.. I agree.. Hoffa has no choice.. (like the rest of us).. he must vote for either one of the two parties. (and no, I don't mean Ron Paul)

But big labor has been silent.. no one talks for the working people? The Teamsters have a chance to speak out.. and they are not.

I drive a truck.. and every day.. they push us harder.. work us to death.. and pay less. And there is no dialog.. not in the blogs.. not in the news... nowhere...

It's business as usual. The 1% get rich.. the workers get older and more tired.

Who are working together to protect the rights of workers not big enough?

We are talking about trying to turn back 30 years of Reaganomics, psychological and media warfare on the American public who have been brainwashed into believing unions and corporations are coming from the same place in lobbying.

Who now spit the word 'union' and 'public workers' out of their mouths the same way they spit the words 'liberal' or 'Democrat' out. As if they've found the ultimate whipping post.

It's hard for all workers right now, but this has been going on a long, long time. Most of the current generation, unless they were in blue states with strong unions, don't even know what union people are talking about. I fought as I watched the environment for workers disintegrate under the Reagan, Bush, Rush, etc. juggernaut.

Obama has finally put some teeth in the agencies that do what we want them to do but it's not covered in the media. So if that's where you get your sources, please take the time to look over the union websites that show what work is being done right now. I know you're tired and frustrated. But Obama is not the same as any of the GOP. They say that in order to demoralize people. There honestly still is a difference in the parties on many levels that is never given credence in media, and I'm not sure what blogs you're referring to as the ones I see in my area are getting results, fighting hard along the side of progressive Democrats here.

Take a well-deserved rest when you can and keep yourself safe on the road. Don't give up. Peace Out.
