An 8-year-old boy has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon, Omaha police said.
William Marion suffered critical head and neck injuries after an SUV struck him at 33rd and Parker Streets at 4:03 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
William was walking west while crossing 33rd Street just south of the intersection. Tamure Morgan, 28, was northbound on 33rd Street in a 2011 Kia SUV when she hit the boy, police said.
William was taken to Nebraska Medical Center and is in critical condition.
