Texas Republicans denounce Pre-K as 'a Godless environment'

Opposing increased investments in preschool is one thing. Condemning preschool as "socialistic" and a "Godless environment" is something else.

I don't remember that the atmosphere of my early years in school was especially godless even though sometimes we ate library paste.

3. Have you ever tried to teach the concept of God to 3 and 4 yr olds?

It really makes you realize how ridiculous some of the things religious people believe really are. I couldn't get through more than 5 minutes with my 4-yr old daughter without literally laughing out loud at both myself and her responses.

So of course it's going to be a largely God-free environment. Telling a preschooler that some people think a magic man in the sky made the world around you will likely get an "OK", followed up with "So can I go play Legos now?"
