This 2pac clip could help explain the riots in Baltimore

Adam Fleischer

2Pac never had the most complex lyrics. His rhymes, from a technical standpoint, rarely bent the listeners’ minds in the way those of artists like Eminem and Lupe Fiasco often do.

But he remains one of rap’s greatest orators ever — both on the mic and off. He had a directness in his words, and a gift for digestibly contextualizing and explaining an array of topics.

It's obviously a case of privilege, but i think it's a case of wealth privilege; 'Cause as far as I can tell, most poor white people have no problem gasping the concept.
