Helpful advice from Hannity: Don't want to get killed by police? Don't run from police.

http://mediamatters.org/video/2015/04/28/sean-hannity-lesson-of-freddie-grays-death-is-d/203456

"You know there's a simple solution in terms of for other people going forward is: don't be involved in the sale of drugs, don't think police are your enemies, don't run at 8:30 in the morning when you see a cop, and certainly that is a part that he plays in this equation."

See? It's that easy.
It's your fault for thinking police is your enemy. Just don't make any hasty movements around them and nobody has to die. Come on, people! How hard could that be? Duh!

The 'lesson' he learns from any situation seems to be the stupidest one possible.

Don't make eye-contact.

Don't dress in a fashion that the cop finds disturbing.

Don't drive/ride in a car that draws attention by having a light out, or is too nice, or too beat up, or.....

Don't be large.

Don't have anything in your hand.

Don't be in an area where the cop doesn't think you shouldn't be.

Don't be out at night.

Don't be out during the day.

And for god's sake, don't be a man and black at the same time.

I'm sure I left out a ton of things, but this Handassity jerk has really pissed me off.

of the guy simply walking in the hallway of his apt. building and shot dead by NYC police for no reason other than they "thought" he might be a threat. There was no commission of a crime and the victim was doing nothing suspicious. And Hannity ought to tell that to the family of Johnny Gammage who was driving in Pittsburgh in his cousin Ray Seals (former NFL player) sports car. He was stopped simply for driving a nice car while being black. He wasn't running away but was wrestled to the ground anyways by police and suffocated.

No great loss, of course, but I'm surprised at the zeal with which a certain type of thinker has embraced this "don't run" mentality.

It ignores two basic ideas, at the very least:

1. Whatever his criminal history, it doesn't justify summary execution.
2. Maybe he ran because he knew he might be killed during an arrest?

As I said, losing such FB friends, no great loss.

I knew a lot of them were racists (mostly people I knew in high school) but they have no filter any more. Absolutely no reservations posting basically what every one else is posting --- that they heard on Fox or from their car radio.

It’s also sort of like working in a company and having a boss coming over to overlook your work, and see how things are going. Then your boss will ask a question about the day’s work, or how you are doing in such a way it seems pleasant at first maybe having an awkward answer.

Then an exchange to what seemed like a friendly beginning discussion turns sour, or even mildly heated, or very harsh like getting called into the office because someone else said something about you.

Then outright lies are cast in your direction. Now there is here say about you, you are asked to go home upon further investigations.

You might have had an injury on the job, but what you did was different you violated the company code of conduct however you were never written up for any violations before and had good attendance, and you know you didn’t violate anything.

Then, going through an investigation five to six manager’s lie about your character, and your terminated. Earlier you suffered an injury on the job and now have no job or insurance because the company terminated your employment. Recovery is poor because medical expenses are too much.

That happened to me. I was forced out of work, and screwed out of long term disability.

At work or on the street if those in a police state want to find something on you they will.
