There are people at DU who genuinely believe Hillary Clinton is a great candidate and the most likely one to defeat a Republicanoid - It's understandable that they wouldn't want to see Clinton bloodied or forced to do with more liberal positions that might weaken her in the general election. Running unopposed would also allow her to hold on to her war chest (mostly) and save that money for the Republicans. So if you really do want Hillary to win - there are sound reasons not to be excited about the challenge from Bernie Sanders.

I personally am excited to see Bernie join the race there - and clearly some of HRCs defenders are welcoming the challenge as well.

of Senator Sanders running in the primaries. I haven't actually seen any that suggest he should not. Do you have a link or two to share? I'd be happy to go look at them. So far, the responses I've seen have been positive about his joining the race. Many think he won't succeed, but I don't see anyone suggesting that he shouldn't run. So, please post a couple of links.

A primary is the democratic way of doing things, and none of the whiny posts here can influence that.
