Handcuff you and throw you into a small area of steel/metals walls, then they purposely drive real fast and go around corners real fast
This is how they killed Gray...
And while they may not have intended to kill him, they sure as hell intended to injure him in this way.
If you are ever in this situation, lay on the floor.
You will still be injured, which is their intention, but not as bad.

(3,977 posts)have "forgotten" that step and gone with the "nickle-ride/cowboy ride" .....hence driver dude has much explaining to do. I bet his union appointed lawyer is working round the clock on that "explanation".

Accelerate. Slam on the brakes. Repeat until it's not funny anymore.
Yay, Cops!
They're the best!

(9,154 posts)Some crazy driver lost control, I was in the back, and we ended up going backwards into a wall, the whole back of the vehicle was crunched. The driver got out and claimed he was hurt, finger cut or something, as he walked away.
Because of the timing of the dream, it could have been about Gray getting injured while taking the ride in that vehicle.
It's certainly not evidence admissible anywhere.

(16,371 posts)The only reason I can think of for doing this is if he was kicking the wall between the cab and the area he was confined in. That could bother them enough to decide to chain his legs so he couldn't kick.
If ... and that's a big if ... he sustained that massive trauma in the van.

(12,778 posts)I've never heard of this, and I'll admit to being somewhat skeptical.

(22,336 posts)This is apparently a normal policy. People are getting training of some sort, whether formal or unformal, to do this. This wasn't something out of the ordinary done by a racist cop, it was a normal part of a racist system.
