It's called civil disobedience

And it is what works.

But the Mayor is out there saying it's the media that is at fault.

Yeah, it's never the cops or all the officials, including the medical examiner who are blaming Freddie Gray for his horrendous death

While the "rich" aka white areas have no curfew. Man, if that isn't racist bullshit ,nothing is

Shame on every part of the Baltimore and Maryland government

Shut it down!

notch on the belt of the officers.

Did you see the video of the officers inside the police station laughing and joking and acting out the Dent man's abuse... I think it's from Inkster...there are so many now...while he lay there bleeding and watching them? Can anyone imagine that happening if it were a white man? Oh yeah, a white man would have not been beaten and brought in ... in the first place.

She knows this has been going on, as do especially the black folks in office, forever. It was just unlucky it happened on her watch.

4. Why would there be a curfew in an area that isn't experiencing civil disobedience?

I remember you posting the other day that this curfew was unconstitutional, I asked you a question that you've failed to answer.
How is a curfew unconstitutional?
You are aware that governor's do have the constitutional power to declare a curfew in certain circumstances, like what's happening in Baltimore?

6. Are you seriously defending a curfew in one area of a city?

Don't forget there was property damage in the nice white area too. Started by drunk white folks calling the peaceful protesters the n word while throwing bar stools and beer bottles at them

8. If that was all that happened in Baltimore, then there would be no reason for a curfew,

but that's not the only incident that happened is it?
There was looting, arson, generally out of control punks taking advantage of the good folks who were protesting peacefully.
So why would the Gov. declare a curfew in an area that isn't experiencing any civil unrest?
And, again, why do you think this is an unconstitutional curfew?
Especially when it's within the constitutional power of all US governors?

Only the people who caused damage should be under a curfew. But instead, the people who were up before the crack of dawn, cleaning up, are also under a curfew.

Ridiculous.
I'm going to bed. Whatever you respond, I will answer tomorrow

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
-- The First Amendment

Of course you'll probably nitpick over the fact that it says congress and so it doesnt apply to states or cities and also that it doesn't apply because protesting is not a form of peaceful assembly and you'll go on and on about CVS being looted so that action justifies the government violating the first amendment rights of an entire town of 600,000+ people by saying that they have no right to assemble at whatever time the government determines.

Am I right GGJohn?

protesting is not a form of peaceful assembly

Of course protesting is a form of peaceful assembly, but looting and arson are not.
As far as the rest of your post, the Gov. of every state has the absolute power to declare a curfew in areas that are experiencing violence, as was happening in Baltimore by some punks who took advantage of the peaceful protesters.

Another point, why would the Gov. declare a curfew in an area that's not experiencing any civil unrest?
