then the dumbass attorney said the cops "are not at odds with the community"....very clear to see this attorney is part of the problem that plagues this community...nothing like sticking one's head in the sand and pretending that blacks have not been victimized....

The police order pres guy looked pissed that this was even a thing, arresting cops.

That's the way our system works and out of prosecution and defense is *supposed* to come justice.

Lest anyone forget, the prosecution side can, and too all too often does, game the system, if for no other reason than vast resources. Very difficult, but not impossible, for defense to do that.

You do understand how the justice system works, right?

These cops will have defense lawyers who will argue and fight on their behalf for an acquittal.

It's his job to say things like that. Sometimes, the defense can get downright baroque, but these guys are pretty good at twisting things into pretzels.

He is his client's advocate. If his client says he's innocent, that is what the attorney says.

As much as it may seem silly to some, I wouldn't have it any other way.
