Very early, but the electoral

college could be changed by red governed states.
Has anyone heard that they will tie it to congressional
seats?
I heard this was not impossible to achieve, but
I could be wrong.

People are watching these tricks and will raise holy heck if the GOP gets close to passing one of these "reforms"

In 2008 this gave Obama one more electoral vote than he would have under the old system. One of NE congressional districts voted for Obama.

It's looking like they would have to win every single swing state to even have a chance in 2016.

But Republicans aren't the type to change their policies. They would rather change the rules.

I think some states are exploring splitting their electoral votes in order to help Republicans, but I haven't heard anything lately.
