According to the BBC, almost as quick as one of my relatives was born.

Maybe they should prepare for a possible at-home delivery if there is a next time.

I am not fond of the monarchy, but these two seem to be a decent lot. i wish them well. In addition, William will end up as King unless something happens. That is more and more ceremonial but that title still retains some power.

who's the fourth in line to the U.S. presidency?

This bizarre obsession with foreign royalty among U.S. citizens really astounds me.

I'd bet anything that, on the whole, more U.S. citizens pay attention to this kind of meaningless nonsense than can name both their senators.

I stand by my point, though it saddens me to do so.

Hatch is 4th!

Though in my defense, that doesn't come up often - the Presidency has never had to go beyond Veep for a substitute. A family is easier to follow.

in the media whether I want to or not. But hearing less about what Orrin Hatch is up to might not be so bad. Human nature, I guess.

Her being the monarch would require tragic death, so hopefully she is never Queen and hopefully Hatch is never President!

The Queen had 4, Diana had 2 and Kate's Mom had 3. So maybe they will have 19 and start the spin off of 19 kids and counting. That'd be cool.

here in the US, I would call her Marilyn.

Till now, Marilyn was a name that stood for gorgeous dumb sexy blondes. It's taken on a new character, standing for courage and honesty, and a different kind of beauty.

Congratulations to the Royal Couple for the way they have handled the birth and raising of their children. The Queen is way up there in years and I bet she's secretly grateful that the couple is doing their own thing and don't want her to be a doting grandma...

As far as we know, this is is the first time in the history of England that either the heir or the spare is female.

Her brother Prince George is ahead of her in succession, being older, but she can't be bumped "out of line" if Will and Kate ever have another boy.
