but I'm starting to look more into Sanders.

I like his stance on pretty much everything.

At my age, the social security issue is a big one for me.

All this talk on here about social vs. class issues has me somewhat confused. Thanks!

It's a class issue in that, unlike the upper classes, many of us have been unable to save enough for retirement and depend (or will depend) mostly or exclusively on social security.

Fighting for social issues without tackling economic issues simultaneously will enable TPTB to continue to erode our financial security.

It has to be both, and we should demand STRONG representation for both.

to be about.

When he refused to say anything bad about Hillary I cheered and then he went right back to talking about the issues. And he has a nice way of showing the differences between the two.

steers the conversation back to the issues. Skillful with tact and class. I've heard he doesn't believe in 'negative campaigning' either which studies show only discourages and suppresses voting, which usually leads to high GOP regulars turning out and winning. (I'm looking at you Karl Rove! ugh-).

~ The Vermont 'BERNIE Bear'. Adorable! Makes me think of the great Trust Buster, TR.
