But, if history repeats, we're going to see a lot of her "supporters" bolt for the Republicans after the primaries.

I'm counting on that enough of us will support the Democratic primary winner in the general that those who would choose to pout won't really matter.

A lot of Clinton supporters DID go to the Republicans.

This doesn't make you wrong - the vast majority did not.

But quite a number did. Sorta like all the democrats for Bush back in 2000. They were really a thing, and in that case, they really did have an impact.

and anyone who still tries to paint Hillary voters as somehow disloyal as democrats is playing an ignorant, divisive game. There's a reason Rush Limbaugh promoted them daily on his show.

See post #7 - they were a futile movement.

And I'm actually certain they still exist, and some number are posting here. Probably the ones who get exceptionally angry and defensive when it's pointed out that they existed.

I guess we'll see how it goes after the primaries, huh?

Throw out insults against Hillary then take their ball home and sit out the election so the teahaddists can win.

But they will feel good about themselves so it's all good.

general election. Here's a much more honest assessment of how primary voters voted in the general:

Not only did Clinton primary voters vote overwhelmingly for Obama in the general election, but they were more likely to vote for Obama than those who voted for John Edwards in the primary.

The fact is he has said he will not run as a spoiler. I believe he is a man of his word and will not. This OP was a little humor directed at the idea that Sanders is a spoiler, even though we haven't even got to the primary yet.

Its possible the Sandernistas may convice him to run third party to "send a message" to the corporatist Democratic party.

However if there were a huge crisis after he won the primary (I'm sure the GOP is saving whatever they have on him in case he wins the primary) and it is impossible for him to win, then I do hope Hillary will run as an independent (or any other Dem who can win)

Bernie isn't that liberal. The National Journal has him ranked as the 31st most liberal Senator in 2012 and the 37th in 2013. I'm not afraid of his being "too left" I'm afraid of his not being able to win the general.

and some will vote in the primary as well, just like the Clinton/Obama primary.

Sen. Sanders is a great and good person, a good Senator but he is not an Obama. If he won the primary, I have no doubt Mrs. Clinton would support him, just like she supported Obama.

In March. She made a jackass out of herself twisting delegate arms and insisting disqualified votes be counted. She did not win the popular vote. The only possible way to get there is to count disqualified votes in Michigan where Obama wasn't on the ballot and by not counting four caucus states where Obama won big but they don't quantify the popular vote. Any person with a sense of fair play and good sportsmanship gets that, which really is my point. Her poor sportsmanship is considered normal by her supporters.

G'night.
