Watch the CNN Spin.

Last edited Sun May 3, 2015, 03:10 PM - Edit history (1)

For all you hooked on the idiot box.

Classic juxtaposition exposing media lies with two videos. As if the reporter did not see what happened.

Bottles thrown at police or..

or a non violent minority protestor subjected to chemical weapons at close range.

CNN showed it as it happened.

Look, I am not a fan of what the cops are doing. I am generally speaking not a fan of main stream media. For god sakes we run a non partisan independent media site. But my lying eyes showed the whole thing happen on CNN last night. They re ran that a few times as well before they went back to their usual programing.

I even got a theory as to why... especially after a cop screamed at the reporter to get back to the media line or face arrest. You want to piss off media, certainly that is one way to do it.

Are you blind? He got subjected to chemical weapons, thrown to the ground by his hair for non violently protesting and CNN can talk about is how he's faking being knocked out and bottles being thrown.

Shame on you and CNN.

there was no mention of bottle thrown, they did state the use of pepper spray or other chemical weapon. You will have to forgive most news reporter have no idea what that crap is, or how it looks. They even showed him getting rolled into the back of the ambulance, gasp I know! I am not spinning a thing. You are trying to create controversy where for once, there is none as far as CNN's coverage of it. They called it as they saw it.

Now you might want to tell me that RT, a well known site with it's well known bias, did it better. Fine, that is great. That is a matter of opinion, and to be fair, RT crews tend to take a few more risks than CNN did, and have lost more camera gear this year than any others in the major networks. Ferguson comes to mind.

But yesterday you had two pairs of eyes watching this and actually wondering why CNN was doing it the way they were, since they tend not to. Then we heard a cop warn the reporter AGAIN. So it finally made sense. Media was not amused.

And with that, time to hide this thread... you got an agenda Sir, and I do not want to play your agenda.

I doubt it is reporting for anybody including RT.

If you posted this on Tuesday you would have no argument from me. CNN sounded like Fox and Shep Smith over at Fox was going into deep causes while msnbc was doing their usual shtick.

Of course once the afternoon crew took over at Fox they went back to normal.

But this incident, no CNN did not do the usual I expect from them. Sorry if you don't like pushback. And speaking of reporting... I do need to go through my gear and list and get ready for this afternoon's event.

Oh and yes, everybody, and i mean everybody has an agenda when reporting. I tend to check twice on the people I don't like and at least three times on those I do like. Why? I know this.

Agenda and RT go hand in hand. Right now the slip is showing as the new Cold War gets more frigid. Fox's well it's been showing from the beggining. CNN also has one, but at least I am aware of this. You seem fully non aware of this.

here is the AP "raw" and I can tell you where some of the edits came by the way. One was when cops threatened media with arrest\spray and they put on masks.

The other was from the we have him down to carry hm away. They cut out the cop checking on him to make sure he could breath. That was the first time anybody noticed distress

The second major cut was not rolling into the ambulance.

Both AP and CNN had very similar versions of the tape.
