Carly Fiorina Outsources Presidential Campaign To India
Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina announced on Monday that she’s running for President in 2016, but within a few short hours, her bid proved itself to be off to a shaky start, after several campaign staffers revealed Fiorina’s decision to outsource “as much of the campaign as possible” to three companies in India.
According to staffers, the companies “American Voices LTD.,” “Mumbai PhoneWorks,” and “East-West Synergy International,” all of which are based out of India, have been hired to handle most of the Fiorina campaign’s logistical and “general office” work, including phone-banking and telemarketing, offering technical support for the campaign’s donation page, and more.
“I’ve never seen anything like this in any campaign I’ve ever worked on,” said one campaign staffer, who asked to remain anonymous. “The idea of outsourcing your political campaign to a different country is unheard of. I’m starting to get an idea now of why my HP computer had as many problems as it had.”
Staffers claim that a “major initiative” Fiorina is planning, but hasn’t announced yet, will also be outsourced to India: Fiorina is planning a major marketing campaign where she’ll claim she’s the most approachable candidate running in 2016, touting a phone number with texting support, online chat services, and email addresses where “regular Americans can contact the Fiorina campaign, and leave messages directly for the candidate.”
“It’s going to be this major program we’ll launch in the Summer, where people can supposedly contact our candidate directly,” one staffer explains. “But it’s all just a sham. You won’t be able to speak with Mrs. Fiorina. Instead, you’ll call some call center in India, or get an email or text message from someone in India. And even [Fiorina] admits the real campaign will probably only get maybe twenty-percent of those messages.”........................................more LOL
