You can watch it on line here http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/money-power-wall-street/ ....
It's pretty good, non biased and straight forward and candid reporting and interviews....
It shows how Obama went for the Wall Street gang right away.
When we should have had Volcker we got Geithner, one of the not ready for prime time player.

(11,064 posts)1. Thanks.
Of course, that which gets rewarded gets repeated. It's just a matter of time before the Wall Street gang causes another melt down and those responsible for the bail outs will push for more bail outs.

The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine by Michael Lewis
Lewis' book is a great read. It shows the dark side of what happened in 2007-2008 and tells the stories of several people who saw it all coming. The characters in the book are like out of a Dickens novel, as are their stories. Lewis is a great story teller and these are great stories. Once you open the book you won't put it down.
Too Big to Fail by journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin
The collapse of Lehman Bros., how it led to near global economic collapse, and how Paulsen and Geitner orchestrated the bailout. Very well researched, you will despise those Wall Street bankers after you read this. The story of the bailout (TARP) is incredible, told here in awesome detail. A jaw-dropping read.
