At What Point Do We Start Publicly Challenging These GOP Idiots On The Spot?

These GOPPERS candidates, legislators and public figures just spout racist, hateful, vengeful, bigoted, insane shit without any instant rebuff. When are they going to be confronted on the spot and verbally put down at least. As long as their crap goes unanswered in the public forum things will continue to deteriorate. Somehow these cretins are going to have to be put under some kind of ridiculing pressure.

There is so much garbage that goes unanswered in the ether it is ridiculous. The MSM almost never challenges them on their vomit. In the past most of these fools would have been run off the public stage with ridicule.

other than online, and a few small progressive news outlets, most Americans get their information from a right wing, corporate media. Difficult to fight a massive right wing media apparatus.

4. I Get Your Point. And Your OP Is What Is So Frustrating About The Situation.

Actually challenging these fools in a public forum can even be dangerous under the right or wrong circumstances. Based on anecdotal information from people who have put themselves out there there are people who will go after you. I have seen OP's on this site where people have admitted going on conservative sites and getting threats and hackers going after them personally.

I am just voicing my frustration. I remember what happened to Alan Berg here in Denver after he went after white supremacists years ago. And I used to listen to him from time to time and he has a "no prisoners" approach. He really blasted these miscreants on the radio. Today's talkers are pretty polite even to the most vicious callers.

I also remember David Sirota who was on progressive radio here. He was more aggressive and had to back off and took a different direction after being attacked viciously here in Denver. It was mostly dangerous email from what I gather, but the hate effected his style quite a bit.

I live in the Chicago area. I am a member of a local social justice group. We put on frequent forums covering a wide variety of issues. Our goal is to present information that people may not have seen before. We just had a series of forums on police violence and the origins of the police in the US.

We are trying to educate, one march, one forum, one debate at a time. But we get nowhere near the attendance of a Fox event, and nowhere near the publicity of a Tea Party event.

6. Look at MSM and the Sunday morning shows, when Bush was in power they had almost all

cons and the excuse was Bush was in power so we have all cons.

When Obama took over still all cons and excuse is to provide time to the opposing party.

Cons own this country, a small handful.

The idiot cons, the ones who vote against their own interests and are so fucking dumb they come on to the internet to argue against their own literal survival, are really to blame.

The banksters wouldnt last a week nor would the Koch's if 95% of this country knew what was going on.

trust me, you should have plenty of opportunity.

Part of the problem is that many of your media types will NOT do what you ask, out of fear of personal safety, or... lack of access. The latter goes to all pols I don't care what party.

Dems in leadership treat them like they are legit. They should be ridiculed, shamed, put on the spot, shouted down, and bounced out of every door. If we tolerate them, we get what we are getting -- an escalation of crazy that is so dangerous that is somehow must be stopped.

10. It's a good idea to read the body of the post, not just the subject line.

That's not a rule, or anything. Just a good idea, that's all.
