GOP head of Senate environment committee says carbon pollution is good for the Earth

As carbon dioxide levels surpassed 400 parts per million globally, Republican James Inhofe of Oklahoma headed to the Senate floor on Wednesday to explain the benefits of greenhouse gas emissions.

“Counter to the doomsday predictions of climate alarmists, increasing observations suggest a much reduced and practically harmless climate response to increased amounts of atmospheric carbon dioxide,” he remarked. “Also missing from the climate alarmists’ doomsday scenarios and well-scripted talking points are the benefits from increased carbon that has led to a greening of the planet and contributed to increased agricultural productivity.”

Inhofe, the chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, wondered why people didn’t understand that carbon pollution was good for the Earth.

...lives to see the oceans devastate the coasts....then drown the bag of human garbage.

This poor excuse for a brain is doing irreparable harm to all of us.

Bought and paid for.

Not to mention a bad case of "superiority complex," as we saw when he pulled that stunt with his private airplane, and then blasted the FAA.

Greening of the planet is not good.

97% of scientist all over the globe have explained in detail

why greening of the planet is not good.

A 5 year old child could understand it.

He has no shame.

He is either:

a) uniformed

b) misinformed

c) a front man for the big oil, gas, and coal companies.

If I were a betting woman, I would place my money on c).

...something like, 'God controls the climate, now humans'.

Most Republicans have 'evolved' on this issue. They went from:
"Global warming is a hoax" to
"It isn't caused by humans" to
"I'm not a scientist"

Inhofe still insists it's a 'hoax'. You know, a joke being played on us by 97% of scientists worldwide.

is insane.

I am so sick of votes, policies, and beliefs being attributed to 'Gods' advice.

Some people think 'God' instructs them to run for president.

'God' gave Bush the okay to invade Iraq.

Perry held a prayer meeting in a stadium to pray for rain.

It's just extremely dangerous and insane !!!!!!!!!

He claims that the US government is causing climate change. He says they control the weather with the H.A.A.R.P. antennae array in Alaska. He says they 'cook' the upper atmosphere with these antennae to create tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts, melt the polar ice caps, etc.

The gummit is playing a hoax on us, apparently, so these scientists can dip into this endless pot of gold research money for fake climate change!

He says he hears about this on George Noory and Alex Jones. He gets angry and fumes for days if I tell him that it's a bunch of ridiculous nonsense.

isn't it wonderful that folks sat on their hands in 2014 because "some" Democrats didn't "complete them".

Well, you get what you fucking vote for...or fail to fucking vote against
