I will continue to do what I can to make the world better. Bitter improves nothing. My quest for perfection will not make me bitter. I will recognize that positive changes need to happen now, and happen big. That's the way the world turns: Big.
Baby steps are for children. We need one giant step for mankind and the planet and we need it now. Vote Bernie!

(13,685 posts)For years now people have felt that there is no use, that we are f***ed, and there is no way out.
But they don't get bitter and lash out at others. They just keep plugging along making do; Surviving.

What we want is a leader. Someone who listens to us and responds to our future. Our cynicism about the future is well grounded and when supposed leaders appear on the scene and we elect them and then they don't do what is needed, our cynicism grows.
The folks who do get bitter are those who lash out at others that are NOT like them, either color of skin, or sex, or nationality. Rather than take the false leaders to task, they lash out at those who have little power. Those type of people are to be stayed away from, for their bitter fears are useless and degrading.
We see those bitter types lashing out at environmentalists. They lash out not at the despoilers of the environment, but lash out at those who talk about the environment being degraded! Crazy!!
