My straight daughter has been married almost 3 years. My lesbian daughter is now engaged in the state of NY. Maybe BOTH of them be EQUAL citizens of the USA, and free to marry those they LOVE.

Let LOVE conquer ALL; not bigotry. Thank you, President Obama, from a Mom, for our Mother's Day Gift from you.

Mother's Day is so ubiquitous and celebrated--even seemingly more so than other holidays, that I think we forget some times how tough it can be for those who have lost their mothers and are not mothers themselves.

A big hug to all of you and may your memories give you comfort.
