4. I wouldn't wish blindness on anyone, but this guy has resources

to pay for his own medical expenses. His wife, who up until now has "chosen not to work" because he was making good money, could consider getting a job like the rest of us. They could downsize considerably from their 3,300 sq.ft. home and still live very decently. I am struck by the fact that they are trying to blame Obama and congressional Democrats for their own stupid choices. I would think that a self-employed 49-year-old with a history of poorly controlled diabetes, who would have been uninsurable pre-ACA, would have jumped at the chance for a health plan.
