I mean, "Women are lazy?"
BTW McInnes, we don't live in a 50's sitcom.

(46,312 posts)Those huge pig farms call the big cesspools they dump pig shit into "lagoons."
When I think of a lagoon, I think of "Gilligans Island."
Not a big pit pig shit is dumped into, and all too often bursts open.
Best laugh for this morning!

(12,645 posts)I'd rather work OT in a shipyard pulling armored T-400 cable through an engine room for a week then stay at home with "the kids" for a week. I bet McInnes couldn't stay at home, do the work that goes on maintaining a household, and look after a couple toddlers for a day. Sure, it's great fun taking a day off work and taking the kids out to the park or the zoo, eating out and bringing home take-out for dinner, but that's not "staying at home".
nd having a Nanny doesn't count.
At least on a job you have a cohort or co-workers helping to level and manage the effort. And women usually have to work twice as hard than a man of their own class or race to get the same recognition (and don't get me started on racial recognition in the workplace).
At home, it's just you, the house and yard, and the kids.
