Poll shows Tom Brady has an unfavorability rating of 83%

Last edited Fri May 15, 2015, 02:45 PM - Edit history (1)

A poll released on Tuesday by the Denver sports polling firm of Peynter-Rodstein, shows a sharp increase in the number of self-identified football fans who hold an unfavorable opinion of New England quarterback Tom Brady. His unfavorable ratings have almost doubled since February, 2015, following New England's Superbowl victory over Seattle. The poll, which was conducted between May 5 and May 11, asked 1,200 people whether they held a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Brady.

Brady's unpopularity is unprecedented; not just for an NFL quarterback but for any major sports figure. His unfavorable rating is 4 points higher than Lance Armstrong's.

An unfavorable rating this high doesn't bode well for Brady's advertising contracts or future earnings from sponsors. An Ugg Australia spokeswoman refused to comment.

That's what happens when you make up a ridiculous story- you just can't back it up with a link.

he's the QB of the team that came out on top of all of them, his we-hate-you rating ought to be closer to 96.9% (assuming equal numbers of fans for all teams).

you found me out. It's satire. I made it up out of whole cloth. There are clues in there: the name of the faux polling firm is Peynter-Rodstein- as in Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers. And the number of people "polled" is 1200- and that's aside from the ridiculous 83% unfavorable rating and the the 4 points higher unfavorable rating than Lance Armstrong.
